Locate the assigned IP:port and credentials in the dashboard. use username/password auth, select the right protocol (HTTP or SOCKS5), then test speed and geolocation.
Which type of proxy is right for me?
If you need many IPs that rotate for scraping or general browsing, choose a residential proxy (traffic-based). If you need a long, stable session tied to one IP (logins, ads, account management), choose a static residential IP. When you need rotate proxy at scale, choose unlimited residential proxy.
I purchased a residential proxy traffic plan. How do I use it?
In your dashboard, copy the gateway, port, and authentication method (username/password or IP allowlist). Configure your app or browser to use the proxy, e.g.:

Proxy speed is slower than expected—how can I improve it?
Test latency to the proxy gateway and to your target site separately. Choose the nearest gateway, reduce concurrency, and avoid heavy media transfers. Rotating residential proxies inherently add overhead; for maximum throughput, use fewer, longer sessions or consider a static IP closer to your region.
Websites keep flagging my proxy IPs—what should I do?
Rotate user-agents and cookies, throttle request rates, and avoid patterns that look like bots. If a static IP is block-listed at the ASN level, request a replacement.
The proxy rotates too frequently and breaks my session.
Enable sticky sessions with a session parameter and keep the connection open. Most plans allow 5-120 min stickiness; exceeding that limit will force rotation. For longer persistence, switch to static residential IPs.
Dashboard usage stats look wrong.
Stats update every few minutes and may lag during peak times. If they still look off after 30 min, clear browser cache or try another device. Capture screenshots and the exact timeframe, then contact support to audit the logs.
API returns error code 429 or “rate limit exceeded.”
You have reached the plan’s concurrent-session or request-per-second cap. Implement exponential back-off, queue requests, or upgrade to a higher concurrency tier. If limits persist despite low traffic, provide your client ID and recent request timestamps so we can investigate.
